Playing Existing Projects
Load community Launchpad projects and start performing lightshows as quickly as possible.
Why Start by Playing Existing Projects?
Playing projects made by others is the fastest way to:
- Understand how Launchpad layouts are commonly structured
- Get used to the feel of the pads and timing
- Experience advanced lightshows before you can build them yourself
What You Need
- A Novation Launchpad (any modern model works: Mini, X, Pro, MK2, etc.)
- A computer with Ableton Live or a compatible app (UniPad, Unitor, etc.)
- Project files or performance videos to follow along with
Recommended First Steps
- Pick a beginner-friendly project (see the Beginner Projects page).
- Follow the creator’s instructions for loading the project into Ableton or the target app.
- Slow the track down if needed so you can focus on accuracy.
- Loop small sections and repeat until they feel comfortable.
